Hi first gen mc club. I’m back after a few years off of hot rodding . Good to be back. I got my Monte Carlo back on the road and now I have smashed it up a little bit. Looking for some parts. I have 71 Monte Carlo that I need a left front fender four and a surround bucket for the headlight. I have numerous monte Carlo parts.

Welcome back Mike!

I remember that car. Sorry to see the damage to it.

If you’re on Facebook, look up Hector Carrillo. He has a lot of Monte parts and is in Baldwin Park, Ca. His number is 626-488-5472.

Welcome back.

Glad to see that your coffee wasn’t spilled in the wreck. I don’t know about you, but I can be an angry [censored] without my Java.

Welcome Mike! Sorry to see the damage. How is the frame horn? I hope it's not bent. Good luck!

Hello, I bent the front of the frame where the radiator sets a little bit. My steering box has got my center link closer to the crossmember. No matter what I’ll get the frame straightened back or I’ll find another roller. The cab of my car is in good shape. It’s never been smashed, it’s a California car it doesn’t have hardly any rust I pretty much got all that done in 06 through 09. I am Monte Carlo through and through. I’ll take a Chevelle off the road to keep my Monte on the road.

Sorry for your problem. You should be able to find all the parts you need.

Where did you get your glass hood? Looks like a real nice fit.

I got that hood in 07 from a guy in Long Beach. I’ve never seen the guy making the hood sense. that hood was his first one a prototype. It fits amazing. And I got really lucky that I didn’t blow it apart. It’s got a couple little scratches and a place where the paint popped away from the fiberglass. I will do some minimal prep work repaint it and get it back on the car.

Thanks for the reply Mike. I wished the new steel one would have the scoop sized appropriate to the hood length. It doesn’t. I might buy the glass scoop and put it on a spare hood that I have.

Yes I am. Jaylene and I are divorced. Have been divorced since 2013. Obviously I got the Monte Carlo. That car kept me sane through the insanity. I beat that car like a red headed step child. Now I owe it to the vehicle to get it back on the road and smash that throttle once again. Lmao.
