70 Build Sheet

Recommended Posts

TY Seat is in perfect condition. BUT, I called the interior guy who recently put a new vinyl roof on my 72. He said he would remove the hog ties, get it out and replace the hog ties. Taking it up there Friday Morning. Will advise.

I have one in my 70 like that over 20 years ago. It’s still there as I’m waiting until I reupholster the rear seat so I can get it out carefully.

To me it’d be worth the money to have an upholsterer dissemble and reassemble the seat to get that build sheet out in the best shape as possible.  Send some pix once it’s freed from its spring prison.

I agree... save it now.

Took the rear seat out out of the 70 and to Williams Custom Tops & Interiors in Langhorne, PA. Build Sheet was removed with no damage and in one piece. Now sitting for a few days in a folder flattening under shop manuals.

Very cool!

I pulled my back seat in the hopes of finding another build sheet (I believe the one I have is off the gas tank) with no luck.

Hoping to strike pay dirt when I redo the interior over the winter or early next spring.
