1Bad454
Hey guys I'm getting ready to install my o2 sensor for my Holley Sniper system and am trying to make it look clean. I'd like to install it on the passenger side header (see pic) and run the cable up the transmission but am not sure if there will be enough clearance since the body is off the car. I know that there will be a few inches considering the body mount bushings but am not 100%. American Racing Headers do tuck up higher than most. Thoughts? Andy's Auto
I would have to hold off for now.
jft69z
I put them outboard on both my ARH headers (Holley Dominator ECM accommodates dual sensors) with 45 degree bungs, angled forward. I'll get you pics tomorrow when I get out in the shop. Initially I was going to have ARH install them when they built them, but they forgot. Just as well, because it wouldn't have worked as well as where I put them anyways.

jft69z
Here's what I got Ron. Bungs came from Amazon, I usually keep those & straight ones in stock. Driver side: Passenger side:
Blackhawk
Mine are inboard with no clearance issues. The collectors line up perfectly with the bends in the Chevelle transmission crossmember.

That clip was existing, I think it was for the mechanical speedo cable. Not needed with the 4L85E trans, so the clip worked out perfectly. 4 hours ago, Dtret said: ... Nice welding too. Thanks, was a little shaky that day, lack of sleep and too much coffee, lol.

Specialists said to stay off it, plus take some other meds. Just a guess though, they really don't know what causes them, and the trigger is different for a lot of people. They're ramping up again lately in frequency, about every other day now. Sometimes its a couple of months, then it gets like this. Fully expect to get one or two during the weekend, but I'll survive. Just lose most of my eyesight for about a half hour....fun stuff.

Makes me feel useless cause there’s nothing I can do. PS stop drinking mtn dew. lol
jft69z
That sounds like a good plan! I'll rig an umbrella up to keep me in the shade too. No mtn dew for me, that's all I need 🙂.
