Pix From Tonight’s Show

Again, I’m the only one with a first Gen Monte. I’m gonna walk the circuit again after another beer and see if that’s changed. I was lucky to get the last spot in one of the few lots; there’s overflow onto the street, but I would never park on the street for a show unless it was closed to regular traffic.

Lovin your pictures.  Thanks for posting.  Shadow Gray is one of my favorite 70 colors.  I also love the 1929 Model A Ford Roadster with the rumble seat.

Thanks for sharing, looks a bit kaotic but I guess that the big city for you

You’re very welcome!  And I agree… I had to drive past the lot four times before I scoped the spot I was able to squeeze into. The gentleman that organizes this show owns the business in one of the photos by the name of Lindys Chili which happens to be on a pretty busy street. I don’t think he was able to obtain permits to close the street down which did make it a bit chaotic. Next time I see him I am going to suggest using a huge parking lot belonging to a church a block north of this location for subsequent shows. Closing down a few side streets around the church would be a lot easier and tolerable. All in all, it was a wonderful night… Weather was perfect, a variety of food trucks, cold beers and a nice assortment of cars.

Thanks Rob!  I figured you’d like that old Ford as well as the one I took a picture of at yesterday’s meet.

Looks like a great time with a lot of beautiful cars. I have to admit, as I was scrolling through the pictures I was anxiously waiting to find the ones of your girl! Beautiful Monte.
