Lucky for me the plastic plug in back of the alternator had broken and I was able to temporarily tape the plastic plug together and finish our trip..

The Gen light came on as we rolled into Hood River. Met up with other club members and had a nice dinner. We determined the issue with the car is the alternator and will pick one up this morning before continuing to Lincoln City. Sounds like Aaron and April are shooting for the coveted Hard Luck Plaque!!! rob 1

Canuck
So far this meet there have been three alternators and two transmission vacuum modulators purchased by members. We’re still all having a great time though.

Thank you … Ed C.

Hank was so busy charming the women that I didn't want to make the show about him… I thought about setting up a "Hank" booth for him alone… LOL. Last night he sprawled out in our chair and left no room for me… Hank is a great traveller, He's always good for at least three to four hundred miles before asking for a potty break. Normally a front seat dog,,, but willing gives up his seat for mom… He likes KFC lunch when we're on the road and usually shares his Egg McMuffin with me breakfast… Ed
