72 REAR SECTION

Good morning Y'all! This has been a fun and challenging project especially when it's DIY..(aren't they all).  I cut out my old floor due to rust issues and replaced with a used rear clip.  So, I uploaded some pictures to share progress, let me know what Y'all think.  I need to add the inner quarter panel lips for the trunk lid to sit on, but I'm trying to figure out the rain gutter situation.  Ultimately, fabricating to the original set up is ideal, but if there are any suggestions out there, i would sure appreciate it. Also, I've seen somewhere on here or on line, a rain drain piece with a hose attached.  I'd like to integrate that under the rear window molding.  Anyone know where I can find those?

Welcome to the Club!!  Looking good! We all know that it's a lot of hard work and money to keep these on the road. I had to install used rear tail panel .The drains are what I have on my Monte Carlo. Pretty simple, 2 repair drain plugs for plastic radiator's (AutoZone). Drill hole on ledge leading into back glass, about 1 1/2" from bottom radius,  ,3install plugs, then I used 1/2" od 3/8" id to drain plug and ran them down to drain hole in trunk just behind rear tires ( down in trunk drop off). I just cut plugs so tubes go through. Here's a picturepost-259-0-07078100-1478003026_thumb.jpegT  That's it. When you're ready to do it I can send you better from inside trunk.

Looking beautiful, I admire your work. I believe this is the part you are after:

at least I hope so because I bought two last week! James, what diameter hole do I need to drill for the plug? Or put another way, will they fit without removing the glass? It will be a few weeks before I receive them.
