Searsman
Ok, trying to replace body mounts in-the very rear of the car, past fuel tank... found my 6 point cobalt 5/8 socket, air wrench , it broke loose but before I could get it all the way out - whatever it screws into started turning as well. Looked in assembly manual it’s body mount 7.. but it appears to go up into a sealed cavity behind the trunk.. does this mean I’ll need to remove rear bumper and cut a hole in this metal cavity to hold whatever the bolt screws in to?.? Help ...
714024SPEED
It's a caged nut up above and unfortunately sounds like the cage broke it's very common. Unfortunately yes you will have to cut a window and hold the nut .
