MC1of80
The flex plate is the same on your 70 although it may not be a dual bolt pattern for the converter mounting. Like lastss said, you would would be better off buying a new one.
Batman
could you tell me size?
MC1of80
There are 2. A small and a large. The small has 153 teeth and the large has 168 teeth. Idk what you have on your engine now.

MC1of80
No dumb questions. If I saw it I could tell you right away, but you're in WI. So, hmmm 🤔. If there is an inspection cover over the flywheel/ torque converter remove it to expose the flywheel. I guess the easiest way to describe it is it the flywheel is almost as large as the trans bellhousing (looking up from the bottom at both sides where the transmission bolts up with the engine) it's a 168 tooth. If you can fit a finger or more between the bellhousing and the flywheel (with the engine off) it's a 153 tooth flywheel. Most likely your Monte has the large flywheel but better to make sure.
