I found these on Amazon and EBay. Received them in 2 days from California. eBay has a better price. $3.79 each bag. The come in 1/2”&5/16”

plus different colors. I’ll let the pictures tell the rest.

I usually trim the excess length with tin snips, then smooth it with a file.  I'll assemble it first though, mark it with a sharpie to get it nice & short, remove it, then cut, file & re-assemble. Usually I'll only leave a couple of slots showing, just enough to engage the strap thru the drive screw.

I hate when I see that excess tail on those clamps.
