I removed my old style alternator which had the 10DN plug & the external regulator & replaced it with a 1 or 3 wire self exciting alternation with a SI plug connection. To wire everything up I Attached the yellow wire removed from the old alternator to terminal 1 & the blue wire to terminal 2. I also pulled the plug from the voltage regulator and ran jumper wires from terminal 2 to 4 and terminal F to 3. Car seems to be charging correctly but now my radio volume pulsates or go's up and down. Car has a mild cam & at idle it almost seems as if the radio volume goes up and down with the lope of the engine. Anyone got any thoughts on what might be wrong?
