Valve Cover to Air Cleaner Vent Tube Component Question

I opened up the air cleaner today and noticed there was a filter made of a brillo pad like material inside the air cleaner where the vent tube from the valve cover connects. Does anyone know what this piece is called? Mine looks pretty grimmy and thought I should probably try to replace it. Thanks in advance.

Just pop it off and take it with you.  Any auto parts store should have it. I always called it the air cleaner vent filter or pcv filter in air cleaner. It worked for me. They are only ( well used to be) just a couple bucks.

PCV crankcase breather filter.

I used to clean them with carb cleaner years ago if they weren't too bad, but that one looks a little well worn.

AC Delco FB59 will do what you need. Cross that number to any other brand if you want.
