Rob Peters
I think it would be interesting to see who her owns the earliest and latest Monte made each of the three years at each plant. Even if you don't know the exact production date we can try to figure it out by the VIN. I am not asking anyone to post their whole VIN. I may have one of the latest Monte here out of the Baltimore plant for the 1970 Year. If I am not mistaken, they stopped production at or near the end of June to set the assembly lines for the next years production, starting in July. According to my body tag my Monte was made in the last week in June 1970. My blue door decal also shows my car was built in June of 70. We will also be able to determine the plant by the VIN. What I am suggesting what you do, without giving your whole VIN is post it like the following. 138570B205XX43 With the XX being two of the numbers I am not providing. So I feel my Monte may be one of the last Monte's built in the Baltimore Plant and maybe the last one built that is owned by one of our members. So let's see who feels they have the earliest Monte and latest Monte built in each plant and each year. Let's also include our Canadian built Monte's. Please make your post short and simple rob

Leghome
I ordered my new 70 on September 20th, 1969. The Flint plant went on Strike shortly there after so It ended up taking 10 weeks for it to arrive in Indiana after being built in Van Nuys I do not know how long it took to transport across country but I am guessing about 2 weeks. That puts my build date around The middle of November 1969. I did not know about build sheets and could not get the window sticker off in one piece and boy did I try to do that but a total failure
