Radiator overflow tank

What year was the Nova overflow tank that tucked in beside the Battery? Looks hidden and kind of stock. I know I saw a post but can't find it now. I think it was 75?

Yeah Grant, 75-79 Nova. I'll try to find the post. The cap is a separate item usually too. Some people complained about leaks at the cap, I never had a problem, but I put a thin rubber gasket in there.

Thanks,  that's it. Price in Canada only $64.99 and $14.95 for the cap. Better than puking antifreeze all over.

Joe, did you replace the rubber gasket in your cap, or did it not have one originally? My cap came with a rubber gasket and it still leaks. Guess I’ll try another one.

The cap I got didn't have one, so I made a gasket.  No leaks whatsoever.  I have the same setup in my Camaro too, no issues.
