Eileen Haag
We’re coming up today from Knoxville with our ‘71. We won’t be at the hotel in time for the drive over to the “cruise in”. I'm assuming there’s a reserved area over there where all the MCs will park. Can someone save us a spot? thanks! Jim Haag
cbolt
Those pics are from the Rattlesnake Run. Randy, Paul and I participated and drove the trail through Daniel Boone National Forrest to Cumberland Falls. Quote

Jim Haag Jim, I see you just joined the club website. Welcome aboard the FGMCC club website. We hope you decide to become a full fledged dues paying member of the club. It is a great group of people. You can sign up to become a member at the Eastern Meet when you go to Somerset today. See Ron Tevis, he has the paperwork. You are about to get a taste of what a great group we are. To participate in any club activities you would need to become a dues paying member but if you do join as a dues paying member today you would be immediately eligible. rob

Searsman
The First Generation Monte Carlo was a Hugh attraction for spectators . The Street is lined with people looking and asking questions, more than any other street or model of car I saw ..

Rob Peters
We should be seeing a listing of the club award winners soon.....unless our members, knowing that this is their last night together at bench racing are too busy mixing adult beverages. rob

Searsman
I would like to take a moment and thank the administrators and staff of this wonderful club for the special recognition certificate I have received for my involvement in the 2023 Eastern Meet. It is truly appreciated very much. My wife and I did not consider this to be a job that had to be done, it was something we totally enjoyed doing , to prepare for this Eastern Meet. We had a blast truthfully, and now that it has come and gone , we hope that everyone who attended enjoyed the meet as much as we . It was a wonderful moment in time. We met so many good people. I may not remember all the names, but I shall never forget all of you. Hundreds of pictures have been taken of this Meet, and I’m sure those will be shared as time goes on. Let us not forget this Memorial Day , to give thanks for those who sacrificed, part or all of their lives, so that we could spend this moment in time, together.. The club officers recognized your contribution to the success of this years Eastern meet. Ron was in contact with me early on when he started planning this meet. Ron and his wife, Shirley, made numerous trips to Somerset to help in his planning. Ron was in frequent contact with the President of the Summernight Cruises. It was an easy decision to select Ron for this Recognized Member Award. Just a note. The Recognized Member Award is a One Year Award and comes with a one year free membership. Ron's FGMCC Member Database has been updated to reflect this one year of free dues. Rob

I’m sure you have a different version cbolt 🤣.In Bristol a few years ago I drug one of my larger trophies there to display with the 71. See picture below. Cbolt sees me and says “ Who the h—- is this guy!!!. I see him looking and he introduces himself as cbolt . So I think , what the H— is a cbolt?!. I’ve heard of a love bolt, hex bolt , lightning bolt ⚡️. But never have I heard of a CBOLT!!!!! To make a long story short . Cbolt at this years Meet wanted to make sure I got a trophy 🏆. So he goes and rounds one up locally in somerset to present to me at the awards banquet. It was a fun and laughter time for all!.
Searsman
Of all those trophies 🏆, this years is my favorite because it came from my FGMCC friends. And yes cbolt , I will bring it to the next meet 👍🏻😀!!..
