Couple of recent pics. Button up a few things and put the tires on. I’ll clean the underside of the body and bolt it on. Roll it out for winter storage. Than I get back to my 70 SS for a few months.

If you're looking to use your Turbo 350 it's a Definite Yes! I know of many big block/ turbo 350 combinations in the past. The best thing is a Better  1st gear ratio! They are very strong upwards of 600 hp. Knowing what you want, I don't think you're looking at that hp range ( right?) . An 850 cm on your combo is a little too much in my mind. A 750 cfm is more than enough for upwards of 550 + hp. A 2 Bolt bottom end is capable of 600 hp, if built right. Is it a nodular iron crankshaft? Good " H" beam rods are the ticket. I'm concerned about that piston choice for the build. What camber heads and what camshaft are you going to run? . Do you have an engine shop near you that can help with the build? There are some very good shops in your area that can help with what you want out of your engine in this build. My build, 427, nodular iron crankshaft,454 block, 396 crank, " H" beam rods , flat top pistons ( valve relief for the intake), 10:2 ratio compression (.030" gasket), with '69 427 closed chamber heads. Dual plane ,air gap intake, hydraulic roller camshaft, . 567/.578 lift , .112 lobe separation. I'm running stock manifolds that work better with these closed chamber heads. Back " in the day " we had a similar set up in a ' 70 Nova ,and it was a 11.90 et  1/4 mile  Street Car !!  With this set up, I'm guessing a 12.60 et 1/4 mile car with the added weight!! There are a lot of "added" tricks to make a turbo 350 perform at this level, just have to find a good transmission shop/ builder in your area. I'd check out some bracket racers in your area. I know, lots of information, but I always have ammunition going in. Hope this helps with what you want.😊

That is a lot to take in. So I'm trying to be around that 600 HP range. I went with a flat tappet cam mostly because I'm kinda dumb lol, my first go with an after market cam I wanted to start on the smaller end of the spectrum. When I took the block to Smythe to have it machined I had the heads tuned for the cam (in Bob's words.) I know it's an eagle after market crank (that bob took down .10. But other than that I've absolutely no clue what I'm doing lol, I've decided there is a shop up in Hamilton performance engineering. That would dyno the motor for me, but I'm also going to break down the motor recheck my math and than bring him the pieces so I'm not leaving a chance of blowing this thing up before it ever makes the car.  And really good info on the 350 tranny, I think I'm gonna snag one of Dennis extra 400 I got a rebuild kit for it and test my luck at that lol. Also I figured we could jet down the carb if it's too much, I've heard it'll be fine and I've heard the too big side of it. I go back to me not having a clue just wanna have big block dreams lol. Thank you for all this

Sounds like you have a plan. Just remember, you've got to move 2 tons as fast as you can to 60 mph, the rest will take care of itself.  Also, power finds the weakest point and breaks things. Plan it out front to rear.😊
