DragCat
I saw the banner at Carlisle, but couldn't hear anything in the back of the room 🤣 From your post on the last meet there looks like a must visit 🤘
71SSclone
Thats closer to Fl than Carlisle is. Hopefully the car will be drivable by then. Notice I didn't say "Finished", because they are never really finished. John 5

S.Maug
my old 70SS isn't that pretty. but I just never was able to put time into her much less money. my dad wasn't a car lover and she mostly and luckily, he at least allowed me to keep it in an old dirt floor shed. It was farm work only when he was alive. my dad treated everything like he owned everything and everyone. he was hard. taught me the value of many things. I was the adopted son of his second wife. so don't put down my car. Please. we aren't full of money.

If you show up with a Vista Cruiser though, it’s game on, right Jared? 😁 2

The truth DOES hurt sometimes. But I have a medically recognized excuse. I have Tourette’s Syndrome. Only I fire off the occasional, uncontrollable insult about fake Customs and cloned SS’s instead of universally recognized expletives … @&#^%!!!!! 🤣😂 2

I can't imagine anyone here slamming your Monte, no matter what stage of work or not your doing. Now if you ask questions of those with the knowledge you're going to get truthful and honest answers. What you do with that information is your decision. People see alot of chop busting on the forum, it's NOT negative it's just people having fun with each other. Once you experience a meet in person you'll see people bend over backwards to help fellow members. I hope you make it to the meet, but a word of caution.......once youve been to one it's an addiction that keeps coming back every year 🤣

cbolt
I liked the barn dust custom. Would have been way cooler if Dennis had driven it to the meet but I certainly understand why he didnt. It was wicked cool though.
Dtret
No sir. 20 hours on a car I know nothing about???? Who do you think I am, Jared? lol.( That video still cracks me up. lol. 😂) Honestly I don’t even trust my 71 SS that far. It has a whopping 436 miles on it since the restoration. I give a lot of credit to the long haul drivers.

Yes, I love seeing unrestored cars and a very rare one too NS
Dtret
That may be the last time that car is seen for awhile. Of course that depends on the other projects in progress. Thank you all for the compliments. The car gets all the credit though, I was just the transporter. lol.
DragCat
Yea I give credit to the drivers making the haul 🤘And I don't think we had any "trailer queens" in the mix. The tow truck bed was loaded with "what if I need this" and barely had room for the weekend cooler 🤣

Maug, the car that I think intrigued most people at this year's meet was a 72 Custom that was a literal garage find by Dennis Tretter. It was beautiful in its natural state as it was found in the garage. Everyone will be happy to see you and your car.
