Montemedic Posted July 9, 2024 Posted July 9, 2024 Welcome Michael. We hope you enjoyed the Eastern Meet at Carlisle and will continue to join us. A very nice garage to work on your Monte and other vehicles too. 1 Quote

Whons Posted July 10, 2024 Posted July 10, 2024 Looks great. the only problem I would have is that wiring for the dash. I'm pretty much a mechanical man. You have a great looking shop. I'm lucky I have my son inlaw's shop to use a lift whenever I need. 1 Quote
420ponies Posted July 10, 2024 Posted July 10, 2024 Very nice shop and Monte Carlo you have there. I have had my dash out like that and upgraded to the gauge package.I finally got it back in just last week (2 1/2 yr. project along with the new engine/ drivetrain). Boy, I wish I had the room you have in your garage...... 'course there would be more projects also !! I'm trying to remember if we met at the Eastern Meet. I didn't have my car there either. Quote
TheBMan Posted July 10, 2024 Posted July 10, 2024 Welcome, Michael! I'm looking forward to seeing your car when it's done. I also have a Black Cherry 1970. I have restored the dash in two Monte Carlo's, it can be somewhat daunting but very doable. From the looks of what you have and the condition, you might consider finding a dash harness rather than trying to fix the mess you have. Unless you happen to enjoy that sort of thing (said no one ever). LOL Quote
GatorDog72 Posted July 10, 2024 Posted July 10, 2024 Wish I could keep my shop as clean as that one! 😁 Very nice! Quote
714024SPEED Posted July 10, 2024 Posted July 10, 2024 Welcome. Love the shop and the Monte looks great. Quote

The previous owner messed up the factory radio harness so I pulled that out as I am installing a retro radio so will have a new harness for that. I did purchase a new courtesy light harness as this one had a funky splice and one of the sockets was buggered up. More to come 3 Quote
