Auburn852 Posted July 10, 2024 Posted July 10, 2024 (edited) MC group, this is my first tech share. I found my heater box had a broken clip that activates the diversion door via the cable. It turns out this is a common failure as the clip is plastic. There is a billet replacement I found on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C61L7PTR?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details Here are some photos of the broken plastic and the metal replacement Edited July 10, 2024 by Auburn852 Hit post to quickly 5 Quote
Blackhawk Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 I 3D printed mine about 10 years ago, if I find the file I'll upload it. I made a spare and tossed it in the glovebox. 1 Quote
cbolt Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 I repaired my heater box a couple of years ago and used the billet actuator clips. Seemed like a great idea to me as well since the plastic ones, and anything plastic really, are notorious for breaking over time. Quote
