I’ll look but I don’t think I have green. Do you have two buckles per bucket seat or just one?

That would depend on where your Monte was built.... Varing state and foreign regulations sometimes called for shoulder straps in '70.

They had a shoulder belt and a lap belt both. But somewhere along the line they changed. They had two buckles per seat, one lap and one shoulder then they put a “ keyhole “ in the lap belt to click the shoulder belt to and eliminated one buckle. I don’t know if it happened like that on the Montes but I know it did on the Oldsmobile’s.

My 71 "bench seat" Monte had one for the shoulder and one for the lap. I ordered deluxe seat belts so the lap belt was "self" tightening but the shoulder belt was a tighten as needed. I never never wore the shoulder belt but did use the lap belt all the time.

In 2009, I bought MORRIS aftermarket 3 point system for the front seat. I ordered the bucket seat and bench seat female ends because I have bucket seats I thought I was going to put in someday. All for $350.00

I love them!

I put them in my 71. My 70 and 72 will get the Morris set as well. And probably my 70 Chevelle. lol. Around here if you don’t wear the shoulder you will most likely get pulled over.

I have two buckles per seat and the shoulder belts are stored along the windows on the headliner. And that is where the original owners dog found them and chewed them off!!

Yeah. Bad dog. lol. It happens. I’ll dig and see if I have anything dark green.

I’m going to need pics. I’m confused ( I know don’t take much). The shoulder belt is held up with two loops ( hooks, holders etc) the lap belt retracts to the holder on the floor and the buckles go in the holder on the console ( if applicable) or set on the seat.

I went and looked though my totes and found ( I knew I had) the seat belts. I did find some dark green but unfortunately there were no shoulder straps. Sorry. Ironically not a lot of shoulder straps at all. That stinks because most sets won’t be complete.

Seat Belts plus sells one-piece belts for bench and bucket seats that bolt into the original anchor points. They come in many different colors. A bit spendy but my wife hated the 2 piece and they are a lot easier to use. Kept the old ones if I need them later.
