Exhaust sound

I had the MAGNAFLOW glass packs installed on my 72. I lije the low Rumble of these glass packs, however I don't like the rapping sound when I stepping it. Woukd an X PIPE control that rapping sound

Summit racing has a comparison video relating to the scavenging effects of both "H" &"X" pipes. 

They recommend the "X" pipes for better effect of clearing out the burn gas from the manifolds, helping to get rid of the rapping sound.

Oh man.... thank you for the information on the X-PIPE. I wouldn't think something like that would be a noticeable difference in performance,  IT DOES. And the sound is awesome
