Montemedic Posted January 1 Author Posted January 1 Great news !!! The hotel contract has been secured for the upcoming 2025 First Generation Monte Carlo Club Mini Meet at the Syracuse Nationals !!! Our Club Host hotel will be with the Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton for this event. This is the same hotel we have used prior. They have done an excellent job in accommodating our Club for this event. If you have any intentions of attending this Mini Meet, PLEASE BOOK YOUR ROOM RESERVATION SOONER THAN LATER as hotel space in the Syracuse area is at a premium for this event and the majority of the hotel rooms are sold out prior to this event. You must be or become a dues paying member in good standing to make a hotel reservation at the Club discounted rate and to participate in this Club Mini Meet. - A group of First Generation Monte Carlo Club members has stayed at this hotel for prior Syracuse Nationals Mini Meets. We agreed to a certain criteria, a hotel contract for a greatly reduced room price, free daily hot and cold breakfast, safe parking for our tow and show vehicles with sufficient trailer parking, a hotel location with easy access from 2 Interstate highways, close to the NYS Fairgrounds where the Syracuse Nationals are held, the City of Syracuse with very good dining and restaurants, gas stations with quality vehicle fuel and nearby nightly cruise in’s. We even found a local homemade ice cream stand just off the hotel property. So come join us for “Largest Car Show in the Northeast” on approximately 400 acres of the NY State Fairgrounds. Come meet other Club members, enjoy some great food, fun, antics, camaraderie, homemade ice cream and an awesome car show event. Danny Koker from “Counting Cars” TV show and owner of “Counts Kustoms” will be a special guest at this event. cny first gen 71 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 There is also a rumor floating around that the old host hotel is going to reopen again as a hotel not apartments, we can only hope. Also would be nice to have it as host hotel again. 4 Quote
Montemedic Posted January 2 Author Posted January 2 Let’s hope it’s more of a reality than a rumor. If it is true, hopefully it will be up and ready for the 2026 Syracuse Nationals. 3 Quote
jft69z Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Thank you C.K., for handling this! For members attending, here is a direct link to booking the rooms that CK sent me yesterday. I used the link, and booked 2 rooms. It already sent me the confirmation numbers, so it does appear to work just fine. A credit card is needed to hold the reservation, but that's standard. https://www.hilton.com/en/book/reservation/rooms/?ctyhocn=SYRNAHX&arrivalDate=2025-07-17&departureDate=2025-07-20&groupCode=CHH909&room1NumAdults=1&cid=OM%2CWW%2CHILTONLINK%2CEN%2CDirectLink 3 1 Quote

Montemedic Posted January 3 Author Posted January 3 Willie, Please go and enjoy your cruise with your family. Both you and your wife have recently retired and should enjoy a well deserved family cruise. No worries Willie, we will see you at the 2026 Syracuse Nationals Mini Meet. All of our members are welcome and encouraged to take advantage of our various Club Meets, our Eastern and Western Meets, and our Carlisle-GM Nationals and Syracuse Nationals Mini Meets. It’s a great way to meet other Club members, see and participate in other or different car show venues and various Club activities with or without your Monte Carlo. Our Monte Carlo’s bring us together but our members are” The Club”. These events are held for our Club members. I always get pulled aside, either at the Club hotel or during car shows we are attending by other car club members and their officers, asking about our various Club activities, how and why we do them. Whether it’s sitting in our circle for some bench racing or door prizes or a pizza party, a meal together, sitting by our Club tents on the Showfield, or maybe having a Club dinner and awards, I explain it to them, that it’s very simple. It is for and about our Club members to have a great time, enjoy each other’s company and make the most of our time together. As we all know, these Meet’s do go by quickly when you are attending and enjoying yourselves. So make the effort to come try something new with your fellow Monte members. There are plenty of stories to be told and shared. We are family friendly too and hope to see you at a various Club event or events. I know it has been said before on other threads in the Forums, but any Club member that would like to plan a Mini Meet, please contact one of the Club Officers. We would be happy to assist you in planning a successful Meet. 5 Quote
DragCat Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Just a warning, bring light comfortable clothes for daytime ( it's DAMN HOT) and warmer clothes for the evening. Yea Willie thanks, I put my hoodie in the truck as soon as I got home last year 🤣 For those planning their first meet attendance, warning, these guys eat a lot 🤣 Also for the first timers, the event coordinators plan extra activities, none are mandatory! It's just trying to give members stuff to do over the weekend. 1 4 Quote
