Jeff Dodson
I need a passenger side inner fender. The driver side has been replaced. OPG only sells them in pairs, Summit only sells in pairs and is twice the price of OPG. Any other places to find them that may sell them separately? Leghome
I have had Ole Red for 13 years and when I got him the inners were cracked and replaced them with plastic and these are now cracked
Chevy Dave
I purchased plastic fender liners from Amazon earlier this year. The fit was poor with some holes drilled wrong. I recommend that you order from a source that one of our members has used and had good results.
alain boileau
🙂I have used THEPATRSPLACE inner fenders on my two Monte Carlo restoration . They were very good .But they only come in pairs.Hope this helps. Alain🙂
Jeff Dodson
Well I may need to just replace both. Amazon sells them separately but I don't want anything crappy. Probably look at THE PARTS PLACE, OPGI wouldn't answer the phone, when the recording answered said the wait was more than 30 minutes
FrankOC
I'll second, (or third?), The Parts Place. My car had Dynacorn inner fenders, they were brittle, fit poorly, and were gray-ish. I bought new ones from TPP, they are more flexible, fit better, (need to elongate one hole), and are satin black.
420ponies
The Parts Place. That's why the named themselves that. No issues here on any parts I have ordered...... And that's too much to list😊 2

I agree, any of the metal or plastic inner fenders should NOT be ordered through Amazon, use one of our recommended suppliers. rob
Montemedic
You can try Lutty’s. They carry the correct Monte inner fenders. Very easy to deal with too.
stangeba
I plan on purchasing a set (I was told they sell by pair only) from CARS Inc. as soon as I feel like it. (Too lazy this year) I can drive to their location it's not far for me, about 9 miles. 2600 Bond St Rochester Hills, MI 48309

I just bought a pair of OEM inner fenders. They are out there. The passenger side always cracks first because of the weight of the battery. the battery tray only bolts on 1 place on the core support. Rob Peters
The discussions about which is better, plastic inner fenders or metal inner fenders is sort of what is the best year of the First Gen Monte or what is the best color First Gen Monte..... It is an argument nobody will ever win... Me, I know for a fact, no discussion necessary, the plastic inner fenders are best, the 70 is the best year and Blue is the best color rob 1
Marks71
I think Rob just fired the first shot over the bow with that last sentence. Too many cool colors to choose, but I’m going with 71.

Most Baltimore built cars had plastic and they plastic fenders were made in Canada. Too bad they didn't have a better structural support for the battery. The passenger side will always Crack in the middle of the wheel opening.

Paul D Valle
I agree with Bob too. There is one exception to using plastic fenders in my humble opinion. If you have an original restoration, absolutely for a baltimore built car. If you are driving your car often then metal makes more sense because they will Crack again on the pass. Side due to an inherent design defect. ORIGINAL PLASTIC are hard to find. So what's point aftermarket plastic are not better than aftermarket metal.
