1Bad454 Posted November 17 Posted November 17 Does anybody know if they reproduce the doughnuts that go on the guide assembly tube? I am missing one.. 1 Quote
MCfan Posted November 20 Posted November 20 What is the "guide assembly tube"? I don't recognize that assembly. It looks like part of the front suspension but I don't remember seeing anything just like that during two front end rebuilds. Which year of Monte is that from? 2 Quote

Michael Boyte Posted November 20 Posted November 20 Good eye Aaron, I too thought it was part of the front suspension. Quote
willie Posted November 20 Posted November 20 Hey Ronnie, I checked all my books and i do Not see them in there by themselves. You can buy the entire unit but not just the doughnut. You will have to see if you can buy it used or make your own. Maybe someone here might have one, Dennis, Leo, Jared?????? 2 Quote

Thanks, Aaron, I should have remembered that from my project to install factory power windows in my '70 ten years ago. Looks like felt donuts were intact when I lubed everything during reassembly. 1 Quote
Scott S. Posted November 20 Posted November 20 I wonder if you might find something like it at one of those craft box stores.... Like Micheal's. I've found a few oddball things that worked out for parts I thought no longer existed there. 1 Quote
72 Monte Carlo Posted November 20 Posted November 20 I have a complete spare window regulator that I'm not using. It was the OEM 72 Monte window regulator from my passenger side door as that door was not repairable. I ended up getting a complete door to swap onto my car. 1 Quote
72 Monte Carlo Posted November 22 Posted November 22 Or if you just want the doughnut by itself, I have it. 1 Quote
