What is the "guide assembly tube"?  I don't recognize that assembly. It looks like part of the front suspension but I don't remember seeing anything just like that during two front end rebuilds.  Which year of Monte is that from?

Hey Ronnie, I checked all my books and i do Not see them in there by themselves. You can buy the entire unit but not just the doughnut. You will have to see if you can buy it used or make your own. Maybe someone here might have one, Dennis, Leo, Jared??????

Thanks, Aaron, I should have remembered that from my project to install factory power windows in my '70 ten years ago.  Looks like felt donuts were intact when I lubed everything during reassembly.

I wonder if you might find something like it at one of those craft box stores.... Like Micheal's.

I've found a few oddball things that worked out for parts I thought no longer existed there.

I have a complete spare window regulator that I'm not using. It was the OEM 72 Monte window regulator from my passenger side door as that door was not repairable. I ended up getting a complete door to swap onto my car.
