Favorite. I would say deep fried turkey .

Green bean casserole. Ya go figure. Deviled eggs too. With 35/40 people coming over I doubt I’ll even get to eat. lol. 😆

Cornbread Stuffing....  mashed sweet potato's with raisins mixed in and melted marshmallows....  Corn-bake....   cranberry sauce..... Then going forward,  Turkey sandwiches for several days following.

I surely can do without Turkey(it is Foul), Cranberry sauce and Definitely Green bean casserole it is nasty to us. The best Thanksgiving meal I can remember in my adult life is the one my mother in-law made me Fried Bologna and sauerkraut which she joined me in. All the others and their turkey and whatever else they had. I was in hog heaven that year

Cold turkey sandwiches with mayonnaise. Never had the sweet potatoes with raisins combo.

Turkey, stuffing, candied  sweet potatoes,  peas, turnips. Of course deviled eggs and shrimp cocktail pie for dessert  and of course turkey sandwiches for days afterwards 😋

I’ll get the scrapings off the bottom of the pans. ( Karen is thoughtful and usually sets a plate aside for me and I scarf it down while I’m doing stuff).

The truth is Dennis only eats once a day! (unless he is with us). Dennis can only eat after he keeps the kids busy in the pond!!!!  lol

What ever is on the table (mere seconds), it's all good food. We usually have around 20 attend, Turkey and Ham, can't forget the gravy or the cornbread . Dessert is pumpkin pie,Pecan pie, and always ,homemade Cheesecake !! Then we find a place on the couch and watch the Detroit Lions !!

I don't really have a favorite, because i have a little of everything. However there always, and i mean always is way too much. When 20 people take home days of stuff and i am eating stuff for a week and then we still have to throw stuff out at the end of the week, there is too much stuff. But you cant tell the lovely wife, her reply would be she doesn't want to run out!!  I give up!!!!!  lol

Lol you are right Steve i have been yes Dearing all my married life!  However i still have a problem after i yes Dear, i do what i want anyway!!  LOL   Of course Not with the food i just about gave up with that, but all my car stuff is yes Dear and then do what i want!!! lol

Found its better to ask for forgiveness rather than permission, it works for me. Its been 45+5 years. Who knows how much longer, lol
