Scott S. Posted November 27, 2024 Posted November 27, 2024 I'm trying to find the dimensions for the float stick for the '70 CD2 washer monitor system. Mine's dried out and broken, and I know I a member here made a few a couple years back, but I can't remember who. I've got the printer, I just need the measurements. Thanks, Scott. Quote

Scott S. Posted November 29, 2024 Author Posted November 29, 2024 Hey Paul, thanks for the offer, but other than the stick every things in pretty good working condition. Would it be possible to send me a pic of the stick with some measurements ? Scott. 1 Quote

70SS396 Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 The Original is of course on the left. They become brittle over time due to the chemicals in the washer fluid. Also, the fiber cable light transmission becomes yellow with age. 1 Quote

Scott S. Posted December 8, 2024 Author Posted December 8, 2024 Thanks for getting back to me Paul. If I could trouble you one more time, could you give me the "paddle" dimensions ? Width, length, and thickness..... I'm thinking I can figure out the colour changes from that. Scott. Quote

The flag doesn't deteriorate, so you can use your existing one to measure. I have several in stock if you are interested. 1 Quote
Scott S. Posted December 9, 2024 Author Posted December 9, 2024 No.... It didn't.... But after I rigged one out of black polystyrene, I lost (or tossed) what was left of the original. I'd be very interested. We'll have to talk after the postal strike..... I've already got rear springs in limbo because of it. Quote

I've already got rear springs in limbo because of it. No trouble. The rods I make are acrylic rather than polystyrene. They are more durable and won't deteriorate as fast as polystyrene due to the chemicals in the washer fluid. 1 Quote
Scott S. Posted December 18, 2024 Author Posted December 18, 2024 Acrylic is more rigid/brittle than poly, and I was working with what I had kicking around. (The framework from a model kit)..... But I didn't have any clear pieces at the time. Quote
