Time for the song Alice's Restauranton  on WDVE radio .  A Thabksgiving Tradition every year at noon.

Sadly, Alice Brock who inspired the song Alice's Restaurant passed away a week ago at 83.

yessir!   Q104.3   in the nyc area !!  12 noon           memories of driving down the parkway to meet at my brother's...when my parents would come up from north carolina!!  good stuff!!

Have it on vinyl. Always loved torturing my kids, and now my grandkids with it. My wife too.

Well, I just had to go and look up "the turkey drop" from  WKRP in cincinnati . I really don't remember seeing it, must have been cruising Gratiot  Ave or Woodward Ave ,in Detroit at the time it was on. I did get a laugh though "like bags of cement"😆😆

The one other episode that still comes to mind is the "Festival Seating" episode..... :(

It was very touching to see a comedy show take a serious approach to the tragedy.
