Chris shipley Posted November 29 Posted November 29 Has anyone went out today and braved it...lol. or on line Quote
420ponies Posted November 30 Posted November 30 Well, I didn't go out in it, heard enough brave and bad stories so far. I did go online today an talked with a Holley Sniper Tech and we decided to get the Sniper 2 kit for my Monte. Now, this kit should be a "plug and play" with everything I need. New tank, in tank pump, fuel line, clamps ,filter, wiring board,3.5" program screen, ( for the ashtray), and tech support when needed. I'm able to use my 3/8" stainless fuel line from the tank and add fuel line to the front side to the EFI. We'll see how everything goes together sometime this winter. Good friend will be helping me install it at his shop. He did my machine work on my 427 BBC and has done a few of these installs on other car/ truck combinations. Did I mention he had a 632 cu.in. in a ' 54 Chevy stepside? With an 8-71 blower and a 4spd. He's going to change it out to a ZT4 ? Camaro motor and a six speed. Yeah, always looking forward! He also has a F.A.S.T. '69 corvette that runs low 9's in the quarter mile on...get this G70 bias ply tires, like 7" wide!! Insane😁😁 3 Quote
Michael Boyte Posted November 30 Posted November 30 Congratulations Jim on the Sniper 2 setup , I can't wait to get a performance report on that system. Talk about a COMPLETE system, That's definitely one. Also, I too would want to be a friend to that man. I Love the low 9sec sleeper Vette . Unbelievable that it will hook enough to turn such. Also an array of High-performance vehicles, I'd be in heaven there. 1 Quote
