Syracuse 'Cavalcade of Cars' 2025 car show

We talked about this in another thread recently. On March 22 & 23, 2025 there will be a car show at the NY State Fairgrounds building. This is the same location as the Syracuse Nationals.

Some members have recently expressed an interest in getting together for the show, and maybe dinner afterwards. I spoke to CK last night and he's going to contact our usual hotel to see about getting some rooms set aside for a night. As we get more details I will post them here, but as of now it seems like a GO!

For me its a little over 2 hour ride, and I know Frank O. is planning to go as well. Hopefully the people who are fairly local will join in as well, for a look at some cars, be with old friends, and share a meal together. If I'm lucky, the ice cream place near the hotel will be open, and I can get my Tangerine Italian Ice desert while there.

I'd have to get a snow suit, ice cream outside in March 🤣 For dinner I would vote for the italian place, if I were going. Both places were good tho

There's  little diner in the village of Liverpool that is supposed to be pretty good for breakfast and not to far. Of course you know I'm in. Won't need a room though.

So, CK has secured the room discounts for us at the Cavalcade of cars event in Syracuse, NY at the end of March. The Room rate is $139/night, and is adjustable for dates if needed. Below is a link to book the rooms directly. I haven't tested it yet, but will book the room through that link and report back.

As a note, this is a pretty good rate at $139. By comparison the rates we get for the GM Nationals in July are $174/night. Granted, it's a bit of the off-season in March, still appreciate the smaller price. We'll probably get there early Saturday morning, stay that night and head back home sometime Sunday.
