Rob Peters Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Here are some of the photo's I took at the Pittsburgh World of Wheels yesterday. There were no Monte Carlo's of any year there except an 80's dirt track body style. rob 7 Quote

Scott S. Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Nice stuff !! Just curious..... Is the '58 Bel Air meant for the beach ??? I've always wondered about what they used to call "going to watch the submarine races" back in the '60's. Quote

Not sure why you would think that. Regarding the submarine races..... I grew up in Jacksonville, Florida so with the beach and many lakes not far away, even as a young-un I knew what was meant about submarine races.... The thing is about the 58, with all that hardware built up on top of the engine you wouldn't see much of anything through the windshield but of course if you are going for the submarine races you don't need to see much out of any of the windows. rob 2 Quote

LOL !! Either that, or the fact it might actually be competing in the submerged race. Quote

Michael Boyte Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Those are some radical rides, I really want to see the Dave Kindig Corvette in person. I'm sure y'all had a fantastic time. All of the vehicles were quite unique . As always,Thanks Rob, I certainly do enjoy looking at the pictures 1 Quote
Montemedic Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Michael, Kindig’s Corvette was at the Syracuse Nationals last year. An incredible well done piece of machinery. It was quite a sight, with so many changes to make it into the vehicle it is. Every time I looked at it, I kept noticing more changes. 3 Quote
Montemedic Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Some interesting vehicles at that show. Thank you for sharing your photos, Rob !!! 1 Quote

It's like having a second home everything in there stays in there Probably 8000 pounds or at least close to it. When I was towing the car to Carlisle I didn't even know it was back there except when I looked in mirrors 😅 4 Quote
