jft69z Posted February 2 Posted February 2 We've discussed this briefly in other threads, but we're excited to officially announce the joint car-club meet to be held this year at Fairborn, Ohio with the Monte Carlo Car Club of North America (MCCCNA). The event will be held the week after our Carlisle, PA./GM Nationals mini-meet, and will be June 27th-29th. About a year ago, their club President, Callie Anne and I started talking, and she mentioned that her club has an event every year, and being an 'All-Generations' club, they honor a different generation each year. She mentioned that for 2025, they'd be honoring the First Generation Montes. I responded by saying..."I know some people with First Gen's". At that point we started discussing the possibility of working together to get as many of our vehicles together as possible. Dennis Tretter and I went to her show last year, and couldn't be more impressed with the event, the location, and the attention to detail she put into running the event. We saw a fair amount of members there that also belong to the FGMCC, and are members of both clubs. Right now, there is already a sizable number of our group that has signed up for this event. Being as this is considered a 'sanctioned' meet, being a dues-paying member of either club will be required. It's not mandatory to join both clubs, but it's not discouraged either. The one thing that is a little different than our usual meets, is there will be a $35 registration fee to enter your car. This goes towards such expenses like putting on the show, trophies, hotel fees (such as using their conference rooms, etc), a DJ, and so on. There is already a discounted, reserved block of rooms that Callie Ann has secured, and the info will be below. The hotel is currently going thru an ownership change, but if you have already reserved a room, it has carried over and you're good to go (may not be a bad idea to verify down the road though). The link to the MCCCNA is here, and it explains pretty much all you need to know about the hotel and location: https://montecarlocarclub.com/ Something to note, Typically, you'd register your vehicle for the show thru the MCCCNA site, but we have come up with a workaround for those people that are members of our club only. Contact me directly thru forum PM, or email at: firstgenmc@outlook.com and I'll get you registered. SO, set aside the date, make reservations, and come join us for what will be a very memorable event. As more details become available for things to do there, we'll post them here. I do know we're planning to take a little tour of the US Air Force Museum which is right down the road, plus it's free. I'll be the Mini-Meet Co-Ordinator for our Club, so any ideas, questions, or suggestions, please don't hesitate to ask. Joe T Here is more info related to the Hotel situation: HOLIDAY INN DAYTON/FAIRBORN I-675 IS NOW BECOMING DOUBLE TREE BY HILTON! Callie Anne Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Hi Joe, thank you so much for your kind words and well-written, informative post! 🙂 We are so excited to have a joint meet with this club! I have talked to several FGMCC members both over the years and recently, and everyone I have met/talked to have been absolutely kind and wonderful people! The MCCCNA Nationals are always a laid-back, fun event where we can hang out with friends, meet new friends, laugh and joke, and just overall have a great time. And of course, share our passion together for these incredible cars. If anyone should have any questions, I'll be happy to help! Looking forward to meeting everyone in June! Kind regards, Callie Anne 11 Quote
Callie Anne Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Hi! I hope everyone is doing well! We just put out the official 2025 Monte Carlo Nationals joint-meet event/activities flyer and I wanted to share it here as well, so that all those attending or considering attending will know many of the activities that we have planned for the show this June. Thanks! 🙂 5 3 Quote
420ponies Posted March 24 Posted March 24 If all is well with my Monte after the Carlisle mini-meet, I just might be going to this one also. It will be an all "on the fly"thing for me of course, but I wouldn't have it any other way !! 5 Quote
Callie Anne Posted March 24 Posted March 24 That would be awesome and sounds like a lot of fun! I would LOVE to get away on a long (and spontaneous) road trip! Hope all works out so we can meet you! 🙂 1 Quote
Glen Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Straggler here… just booked my room for this joint meet. And a heads-up to those entertaining attending… As of 415 pm CST, the host hotel has ONE room (King-sized bed) remaining in the block reserved. With or without a Monte (logistics still in progress on this), I’ll be hanging out with all you peeps for the weekend. Looking forward to a great time! 3 Quote

Glen Posted March 26 Posted March 26 13 minutes ago, Dtret said: Please As there is no voice inflection in a written response, I don’t know how to interpret your “Please”. Is that a scoff at/dismissal of my intent? Or is that a request to follow through? Please clarify… 2 1 Quote
Dtret Posted March 26 Posted March 26 I haven’t decided yet. Let me think about it. I let you know in Carlisle. 2 1 1 Quote

gprimm Posted March 30 Posted March 30 I have attended since 2023 when Callie restarted the national get together. It is the PERFECT showfield. Last year I brought my gold 1971 SS and green 1971 small block. Last August I purchased my dear friends original owner 1987 Aerocoupe with 11K, and I was going to bring all three this year, but my youngest son is an Air Force pilot and he just recently got told he has a week of special training that week, so my other son and I will have the 71 and 87 Aero. It'll be sad not having the 71 SS there. 5 Quote
