Canuck Posted February 18 Posted February 18 I’ve done a few 2,000 mile round trips for Western Meets over the years. I know of 5 members that have driven 2,500-2,800 mile round trips for Western Meets too. There’s always a good challenge for the Long Distance Award at Western Meets. 4 Quote

cbolt Posted February 18 Posted February 18 Its roughly 2k mile round trip to Carlisle (910 each way) when we go, but the direct to Carlisle number is usually skewed because we often incorporate side trips. When we drove to Somerset (739 miles each way) two years ago, we went via Johnson City to see friends for a few days. I want to say our longest day time-wise was Philly to Palm Coast via Annapolis and on to Richmond, all back roads. The trip was roughly 18 hours travel time, including stops for food and gas and rest. It was that trip that prompted me to take the stock buckets out and replace them with modern ProCar scat 90's. Linda and I were in pain the whole next day. The best part of owning the Monte, besides being able to fix everything on the car, is driving it. Driving it with the confidence that it will get me where I want to go. (mostly)😉 4 Quote
