Crazy weather . Snow .warm . And rain. I seen all the devastating weather yesterday and day before. Currently we are are under a tornado watch...last year ohio had a record breaking 80 something tornadoes.

Storms hit hard here today also.  High winds, heavy rain, a coating if hail  but even though we were under tornado warnings but none sughted around our house.

We had taken our grandson to the movies to watch the Captain America movie.  When we returned home we found the deck furniture had been blown half way across the deck and our Weber grill blown over and damaging it badly.

Heavy rain, and I think I heard a train chugging by as the storm moved out of the area. The wind was fierce also and lost internet(2 times), lights flickered, no outage. I thought my generator kicked on ,but that was the storm racket. 1 more bad area coming, we'll see what happens.

Strange, yesterday with all of those bad storms moving through our power never went off.   BUT, this morning with no storms or wind at 5:43AM I was awakened by not being able to breathe because my C-Pap shut off due to our power going off.  It was off for over 6 hours.

Glad it's back on. Wasn’t out for longer period. 6 is enough though

That's pretty good.... It takes about 2 minutes for me to realize I can't breathe when mine shuts down.

I realize I can't breathe as soon as it shuts off, it wakes me up immediately.

Guess I was lucky here some wind and rain but not awful,  a few branches down in my yard but a few miles up the road trees and power lines down but I didn't loose power at all.

Is that reaction from years of waking up with a pillow over your face to stop the snoring ????  :k

Not at all.  That reaction is from the C-Pap shutting off and immediately cutting off my air supply.  It is very scary whenever it happens.  When you can't breathe, you die

I wonder how many club members use a Cpap machine?

I have for over 7 years now and just replaced the first one for a replacement.

(I liked the old one better)

I do and have been for probably 6 or 7 years now. Had one of the recalled units it was replaced but I did like ite original one better.  Got a very small settlement out of recall.

I'm on my 3rd or 4th one.  Been using a C-Pap for over 20 years.  They have definitely gotten smaller over the years.  My original one did not have a humidifier.  They also sell an even smaller one made for travel but I can't justify $1,300.0 to buy a travel C-Pap.

So you missed the point of your wife, your loud snoring, and a pillow ??? :k

I've had mine just over 10 years now, got the newer version last fall.

Yeah, I liked the older one too. Easier to clean. Better filters.

Snoring isn't my main issue.  My main issue is being able to breathe.  I have severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea and I stop breathing on an average of every 3 minutes due to my airway being blocked because of my sleep apnea.

Mine was similar in it's effects..... I couldn't lay on my back or the same thing happened.

Spent over 3 years sleeping in the sitting position because the doctors misdiagnosed my condition. Finally wound up in the hospital where the head of Cardio/Pulminary figured it out.

Lost a lot of weight and I haven't snored since. :)
