I agree with you both, Why didn't they say it was an SS??? Looks really clean so don't think it will last to long!!!!   Tkx for posting Mark!!

I doubt it is a real SS. The SS454 emblems are reproduction with the pass side one mounted too far forward. It also has a small block fan shroud.

Good looking car. The interior has the controls for AC. Don’t see any signs of it having a compressor on the inner fender. Could have been replaced though. I’d be surprised if it was an SS.

Nice looking car, I like the colour combo.

But yes, lots of little clues that the "SS" is an added feature.

To each his/her own. :)

That place usually has decent cars.  I use to live about 5 minutes from there now I'm about 45 minutes away. Last time I was there unless you are going to buy, they charge you a entry fee to just look at what is there.

I remember years ago going to look at a car in a "warehouse" type dealer. They wanted a couple hundred "non refundable" just to pull the car out to test drive 🙃

Mark, that sounds like a place that is not very interested in selling cars.  Showing cars and allowing a test drive or at least an ability to do a detailed visual inspection and allowing a potential buyer the chance to at least to hear it run and check out all of the different things installed on the car is part of a sales plan.  To charge someone that kind of money is not good customer relations.  Showing a car is part of doing business.

I get it Rob, I thought he was joking at first.

Thought this car looked familiar.  Found pix from when I met and talked to the owner at a show on 21 July 22.  He admitted that the car was not a legit SS. He even joked that he’d never put mismatched tires on a real SS 😂. Car did sound pretty healthy, though.

Red rockers and the rocker trim installed with a bunch of screws makes me suspect that there are probably a lot of other issues.
