@Dtret The passenger side has a tab welded on the cover. The valve covers should look like this. @Canuck was very helpful and shared these photos with me

Is there only one tab. Because I’m seeing two. One between the mount holes. I believe I have more still looking.

My original covers just have the one tab to hold the TCS wiring. No other tabs at all. It’s possible that there were changes made later on during production as my car was built in Oct 1969.

A second tab wouldn’t deter me from using them if I was looking as it isn’t really visible facing toward the intake.

I agree but they may not have come of a 70 either. Still looking but I’m running out of places to look. I have to get organized this summer. This is rediculas.

Found another set. Two tabs on each. I wonder if they can be taken off. Hmmm.
