tthomas5118 Posted April 15 Posted April 15 I’m looking to buy a pair of original 1970 350 valve covers. Quote
Dtret Posted April 16 Posted April 16 I may have. But find me a picture of what you want as there are several different types. 1 Quote
tthomas5118 Posted April 16 Author Posted April 16 @Dtret The passenger side has a tab welded on the cover. The valve covers should look like this. @Canuck was very helpful and shared these photos with me 1 Quote
Dtret Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Is there only one tab. Because I’m seeing two. One between the mount holes. I believe I have more still looking. Quote

My original covers just have the one tab to hold the TCS wiring. No other tabs at all. It’s possible that there were changes made later on during production as my car was built in Oct 1969. Quote
Canuck Posted April 16 Posted April 16 A second tab wouldn’t deter me from using them if I was looking as it isn’t really visible facing toward the intake. Quote

I agree but they may not have come of a 70 either. Still looking but I’m running out of places to look. I have to get organized this summer. This is rediculas. 1 1 Quote
Dtret Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Found another set. Two tabs on each. I wonder if they can be taken off. Hmmm. 1 Quote
