Stewys454 Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Hi everyone. My 71 SS is all painted now, including having the body back on the frame and panels fitted. So now I have a few questions about reassembly. Who do you find has the best wiring harness for a completely stock monte? What company did you order your harness from? Where do you find the best places are to get parts such as body trim, glass, gas tank, inner front fender wells? I'm in Canada but I'm doubtful there are many suppliers here. Thanks in advance. jft69z Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Hello Bob, If you're looking for an exact factory replacement (replica), American Auto Wire and M&H both can supply your needs. Keep in mind, they may be a 'build to order' situation, and could take a long time. Best bet is to give both places a call. I use AAW for any harness I replace, and that's after talking with them, M&H, and Painless. I use the 'Classic Update' series which has modern fuses, added circuits, etc., but they do the factory replica as well. The Parts Place seems to have the best front inner fenders, as well as most of the trim, small parts, etc you may need. I used 'Auto City Classic' for my glass replacement, and they can date code it for you if desired. https://www.autocityclassic.com/index.php?p=home 4 1 Quote
Scott S. Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Hey Bob. Early Birds is in your neighbourhood. He buys in bulk from Parts Place, so he can cut down on the shipping costs, prices in CDN funds, etc. Give his cataloug a look..... If he doesn't have it, he will usually try and get it. 2 Quote

It a bit overwhelming at this stage, lol. Quote
