Isn't that what "hoodies" are for ????

Now there's another product line to add..... ;)Ā

I already stated before that I don't care for hoodies that much. They just look cheap compared to a nice looking regular jacket or coat.

Nope, I don't wear those either.Ā

It's only a regular baseball or trucker style without the mesh hat for me.

My Scottish and Scandinavian blood gets sunburnt too easy until it turns into a tan.Ā

I would take a nice lightweight hoodie if they were available. It doesn't get cold enough here for a regular jacket let alone a coat. With a hoodie you can leave it unzipped and hood down for cool nights, and zipped and hood up if you get chilly.Ā

It's a Florida thing I suppose. I don't really wear hoodies either, (mostly because I only have one, and the wife and I fight over it when the weather warrants it) but would if there was a club logo one available.Ā

Oh yeah, they also go well with shorts!Ā

I got my first hoodie living in SoCal, made me a fan for sure. I don't own any zippered ones tho.

For our Texas members, come on down to SoFl in the summer and I'll give you an education on humidity 🤣 But Ive been in Dallas in Dec and and it was to damn cold to even smoke outside 🤣

If I'm wearing shorts, its to damn hot for a hoodie 🤣

My preferance for a sweatshirt would be with a collar with a short zipper and no hood, black.

Just a note, we are NOT going to be stocking any type of sweatshirt. We have a couple pullover sweatshirts in stock (2-smalls & 2-mediums -- $31/each), but that's it. No plan to reorder those either, as they aren't a big seller at all.

There is the other thread for that with Chris Shipley taking the lead to some degree. He had one made for his personal use and was gauging if there was any interest from our members, in getting more made from his buddy that did the work.

Must be the Scandinavian genes that predominated the hair...... lol

Being of Scottish/English/Irish descent, I'll never have to worry about burning the dome, or wearing a hat.Ā  ;)Ā

Below is a version of one of the hats I posted earlier, except this doesn't have the red band. Looks like it'll have the mesh/wicking that would be good for hot weather. Also available in solid red, to maybe match our Club site? Not a 'low profile' like our current hats that the people with giant heads don't like, but not the 'Tall' style either.

Possibly a good compromise for all?

I can imagine something like this with the club logo.Ā  If I am the only person, no worries.

Those look real good Joe. I like the plain look with the logo on the front. These will look fantasticĀ

I think the logo would look best on the black hat.Ā  I would definitely buy one.

Joe,

Actually, I think both the Black and Red hats will look great with the FGMCC logo!

I'm steering towards possibly doing just that, especially if the vendor would work with us on minimum quantity numbers (maybe get 12-15 of each color, as opposed to minimum of 24 each color).

Since all my vehicles are black, except the Monte 🤣 I'd go for a black mesh hat or 2

Quick question I don't think was asked.........Is the club logo embroidered on the hat or is it the club "patch" sewn on the hat ? I don't care for hats with patches sewn on.Ā

The hats we currently have are embroidered. The places I reached out to for quotes have that as well. One place did come back with the logo as some form of a picture, like a T-shirt, instead of embroidered. I'm not so sure I like that idea either, but will do more research and make calls to the vendors after Kentucky (hopefully).
