It doesn't get cold enough here for a regular jacket let alone a coat. With a hoodie you can leave it unzipped and hood down for cool nights, and zipped and hood up if you get chilly.Ā It's a Florida thing I suppose. I don't really wear hoodies either, (mostly because I only have one, and the wife and I fight over it when the weather warrants it) but would if there was a club logo one available.Ā Oh yeah, they also go well with shorts!Ā 2 2 Quote

I don't own any zippered ones tho. For our Texas members, come on down to SoFl in the summer and I'll give you an education on humidityĀ š¤£Ā But Ive been in Dallas in Dec and and it was to damn cold to even smoke outside 𤣠If I'm wearing shorts, its to damn hot for a hoodieĀ š¤£Ā 2 Quote

willie Posted May 9 Posted May 9 I do wear hoodies with zippers. I never use the hood unless its raining, Period!!! 3 Quote
Chevy Dave Posted May 9 Posted May 9 My preferance for a sweatshirt would be with a collar with a short zipper and no hood, black. 1 Quote
jft69z Posted May 9 Author Posted May 9 Just a note, we are NOT going to be stocking any type of sweatshirt. We have a couple pullover sweatshirts in stock (2-smalls & 2-mediums -- $31/each), but that's it. No plan to reorder those either, as they aren't a big seller at all. There is the other thread for that with Chris Shipley taking the lead to some degree. He had one made for his personal use and was gauging if there was any interest from our members, in getting more made from his buddy that did the work. https://www.firstgenmc.com/forums/index.php?/topic/34147-new-club-item-possibility/#findComment-292569 Ā 2 Quote

jft69z Posted May 15 Author Posted May 15 Ā Ā Below is a version of one of the hats I posted earlier, except this doesn't have the red band. Looks like it'll have the mesh/wicking that would be good for hot weather. Also available in solid red, to maybe match our Club site? Not a 'low profile' like our current hats that the people with giant heads don't like, but not the 'Tall' style either. Possibly a good compromise for all? Ā For Comparison:Ā Ā Ā Item#: SM-STC10-Black Description Ā All the Dry Zone moisture-wicking performance you love in Sport-Tek apparel - in caps designed for adults and youth. Sport-Tek STC10 Features: Fabric: 91/9 nylon/cotton twill Structure: Structured Profile: Mid Closure: Hook and loop 2 Quote
Robnhood Posted May 15 Posted May 15 Not that I am a big hat person, but this is one of the few hats that i will wear. Ā I can imagine something like this with the club logo.Ā If I am the only person, no worries. 2 Quote
Leghome Posted May 15 Posted May 15 Those look real good Joe. I like the plain look with the logo on the front. These will look fantasticĀ 1 1 Quote

70 Owner Posted May 15 Posted May 15 I think the logo would look best on the black hat.Ā I would definitely buy one. 1 1 Quote
72 Monte Carlo Posted May 15 Posted May 15 Joe, Actually, I think both the Black and Red hats will look great with the FGMCC logo! 1 Quote
72 Monte Carlo Posted May 15 Posted May 15 I would actually buy both a Black and a Red FGMCC hat. 1 1 Quote

Quick question I don't think was asked.........Is the club logo embroidered on the hat or is it the club "patch" sewn on the hat ? I don't care for hats with patches sewn on.Ā 1 Quote

One place did come back with the logo as some form of a picture, like a T-shirt, instead of embroidered. I'm not so sure I like that idea either, but will do more research and make calls to the vendors after Kentucky (hopefully). 2 1 Quote
