Scott S. Posted May 6 Posted May 6 You'll find them..... eventually. You just need to get out and cruise. Southern Alberta is a lot like South Texas. Lots of open spaces, wind generators, oil wells....... AND cows. Only real difference is that I can see the Rockies from my rooftop. 1 Quote
Jeff Dodson Posted May 6 Author Posted May 6 Well those that are curious about the weather. ... Have you ever been cremated ?... 🤣🤣 summertime get that way, but sometimes we can have all 4 seasons in 1 week. There is a saying, if you don't like the weather in Texas, hang around 20 minutes, it will change. We will have a week of freezes and everything shuts down, kills vegetation and then it comes back during of the summer days during the winter. People here will wear a hoodie and shorts and flip flops for the 80-90 degree afternoons during winter... strange, but we love TEXAS. 2 1 Quote
420ponies Posted May 8 Posted May 8 My Sister lives in Denton, Texas. I was down there in July? It was like sitting in a frying pan, I wasn't doing anything stressful, and the sweat was rolling. That place needs more trees to shade you! But ,things don't rust there either like here. Lots of great places to eat, lot's of vintage cars to look at too! 2 Quote
