Jason1972 Posted June 7 Posted June 7 I know its a long shot but does Anyone have a tail panel for a 72 monte carlo near Pittsburgh pa or going to the carlisle event this month also need trunk drop that the tail pan sits on Quote
Rob Peters Posted June 8 Posted June 8 Jason, I don't know if Dennis (Dtret) here on the boards would have one but I am sure if he does he will help you out. He will be going to Carlisle. We also have a member named Steve Demers who has a lot of NOS and used parts. He usually goes to Carlisle and sets up a sales spot in the vendors area. I will PM you his phone number. Just a warning, a NOS one is going to cost a bundle. Steve posts his number here on the boards so I can share it with you. I see you just joined the boards a couple months ago. We hope you like what you see here and decide to become a Full Fledged Dues paying member of the club. If you make it to Carlisle please make sure you stop by the club canopy on the show field and meet some of our members. You live just down the Mon river from me. I live in the south hills of Pittsburgh. rob 1 Quote
Dtret Posted June 8 Posted June 8 Jason post me a close up picture of the back of your car and a picture of each end trim that’s on the extension. Unless of course you need all three pieces. 1 Quote
Jason1972 Posted June 8 Author Posted June 8 Rob I definitely will stop by the tent.I know it's going to be big money item but when you need something you have to have it Mine was fiberglassed fixed years ago by someone long before me When I went to take apart it came out in peices unfortunately Dtret I need the whole panel that the trim attaches to I have the trim I'm not going to be using it anymore Quote
Dtret Posted June 8 Posted June 8 I thought you were looking for the chrome trim. Sorry. I don’t have the tail section. Sorry again. 1 Quote
Rob Peters Posted June 8 Posted June 8 Jason, go to this link from the Parts Sources in the Resources area: https://www.firstgenmc.com/forums/index.php?/resources/partssources/ Once you are there look for Konik's Klassik's. Leo is good to work with and he is a dues paying member of the club. rob 1 Quote

Jared Richey Posted June 8 Posted June 8 What part of your tail panel is bad? If just the lip. Use a reproduction panel and patch it. I have a few but here in SC. 1 Quote

His screen name on the site was LostnFound I am pretty sure Larry still checks in now and then so you may want to leave him a PM here on the site to see if he still has it rob 1 Quote
