As you can see, the site appears to work again. After countless hours working with the web hosting and site software people, our very own Ian Novinger fixed the site. He found a problem with database access and corrected it. I tried a 'restore' function of all the files on the server side, but that didn't fix it.  Because of that though, anything posted between midnight and 5:20 AM would be lost, not too bad, in the whole scheme of things.

It all started with a simple software update that was apparently corrupted. Both of the software entities pointed the finger at each other (big surprise), but Ian saved the day.

Thank you Ian!

Thank you Ian

Thank you Joe, for what I can only assume was hours of phone calls, emails and texts. The work you put in to the site does NOT go unnoticed and I really appreciate what you do. Thank you again

Dennis.

Thank you Joe,

I almost threw up at one point when one support person said it was all bad and we need to get a web developer to build a new site.....🤮

Thank you Ian and Joe and anyone else that may have been involved.  I was starting to go through withdrawal today 😅 glad we're back up and running.

Thanks Joe and Ian.  After what Joe went through today, I can sympathize, having been in that position over the years.  Nobody can realize what all is involved in the job of President if they haven't been involved in doing it.  Again, much appreciated Ian and Joe.

It’s funny you mention that. FGMCC is the first thing I go to in the mornings with my coffee, after the dogs have been fed of course. I kept coming back to the site to see if it was up. Maybe that withdrawal thing is real.

I actually got some things done today, unusual in its own right. I had to find something else to occupy my time. lol. I dropped a rear differential on my finger and sliced it to heck but other than that it was a good day. And I got to come back and enjoy the site when I was done. Thanks again.

Dennis, I'm sorry for that finger hurting...... I gotta say it, "I'm just glad it wasn't another 2x4 !! "

I feel your pain Dennis.  The day before you did that I ended up in an emergency room.  I was going down the basement steps.  I got distracted and thinking I was on the last step (actually I still had two more steps to go) and thinking I should be stepping onto the basement floor my foot only found air.  With no floor to step on I fell forward down the remaining couple steps and into shelving at the bottom of the steps.  I hit the edge of the shelf with my elbow and my forearm supporting all of my weight coming down on it.  I laid there a couple minutes trying to take stock of everything and it really hurt to even touch the area.  Well, luckily nothing is broken, except my pride.  I had to wear a sling for a couple days but all is good and I'm back in the saddle again.  It is a good thing there were no 2X4's or differential's at the bottom of the steps.

I think I would have rather had the 2x4. That only hurt for a bit but just looked bad. Doc says “ we’ll tape it together and hope for the best”. I’ll probably loose the fingernail. Karen ordered me some finger guards so at least I can make it look decent for Carlisle. I did finish stripping the frame with it wrapped in a paper towel. To add insult to injury, literally, I was moving the diff with one hand and dropped it on my foot. No damage just pain. No biggie. Y’all kinda seeing a pattern here. lol. Soon you will hear “ but wait there’s more “. lol. 😂 My job is to entertain.

You may want to get help moving the rear end in the future these injuries will come back to haunt you in the future.  Ask me how I know 😅

Remember Dennis, "work smarter, not harder"! And make sure you have plenty of room around you to get out of the way, if something is ready to fall on you. Do you remember an engine stand incident that I had ? wrist is still not 100 percent.
