1Bad454 Posted June 11 Posted June 11 What is everybody using for floor insulation? Is the factory jute the best way to go? 1 Quote
Leghome Posted June 11 Posted June 11 when we redid my 72's interior we put in a Dynamat like material and thenew carpet was ordered with the extra padding which I now forgot the name of from ACC. 2 Quote
420ponies Posted June 11 Posted June 11 I used the jute all new ,all over the floor, Then added Dynamat from just behind the front buckets to the back panel of the rear seat. Also on the sides where the interior panels go (over wheel well),down side braces. I made a back panel from 3/16" fiber board. That was 19yrs ago. 2 Quote
rsorg Posted June 11 Posted June 11 i used dynamat, then acc carpet with the added padding installed on the carpet ,with my factory 454 and and factory exhaust, the interior is extremely more quiet, and now can have a conversation in the car and also can hear the radio, highly recommend dynamat and extra jute for sound, roger 3 Quote
