502ci
Do you think you will break into the 10's with it now? That engine always looks so squeaky clean it's hard to believe you actually drive it...

wallaby
Are those valve cover studs? They almost look like push rods... I tried using studs for my valve covers and couldn't remove the covers after the engine was installed. I needed to have a bit of sideways motion to get the covers to clear the brake booster, etc. It's not a problem if you remove the studs every time you pull the covers, but that kinda takes the convenience right out of it. Dans '70 Z20
Wish they made a set of clear valve covers. That valvetrain train is purdy! Can't wait to here about the new time slips and looking forward to hearing it at the Eastern Meet. You know Al will be jealous, he loves horsepower!! Mike 57
Thanks for the kind words guys! Dave is right, I run a hydraboost so the covers come off pretty easy. I run a solid roller and I like to check the valves every so often they usually stay in adjustment, but I like to check to keep an eye on the rollers. I have run the same cover gaskets for four years
