You know the fan attached to the back of the computer? Why does it speed up/turn on all the time? Is there a fix for it? I have cleaned my computer out but it doesnt help much. Can anyone tell me how to fix it?

thanks

There may actually be two fans on the back.

One is in the power supply and meant to run all the time. If you are noticing a change in speed, RPM`s, then it is probably controlled by a thermostat of sorts.

As the PC gets warmer it speeds up to increase cooling.

Or you may be talking about a case fan. But does basically the same thing as the PS fan.

There is no fix. It is behaving as it is designed to.
