Chevyss
Trying to figure out why my car is all the sudden bottoming out. The only thing that's been done is change from 1 1/2 " spacers to 3" spacers on the rear springs and now when you go over those spots in the street where the city has cut out for sewer or what ever it hits so hard you would thing something is going to break. New springs and shocks, hotchkis control arms and sway bar. It's getting frustrating and I need it to go to Langley. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks in advance. CrazyDavey
you've probably over extended the rear shocks Royce and they're running out of travel...
Sam (Bones)
you've probably over extended the rear shocks Royce and they're running out of travel... there's no bump stop for the rear axle downward travel except for the shocks
cny first gen 71
Aggred it sounds like there topping out pick up on the back of the car and see if theres any free travel left on the shocks. If not you may have to go back to the other spacers or get longer shocks. They will make a god awfull noise when they top out.
Chevyss
Do you think that when I put the 3" stools in the car it over extended the shocks? Never thought it would because of the lowering springs 1" I used from Hotchkis. I'm just going to get two new shocks and replace what I have. They are still under warranty. Monroes. What would be a good coil over to go with??
