Andy Gargagliano
I have a 72 Monte with a 350 engine.I have a holly 80GPH mecanical fuel pump and a summit fuel filter 130GPH.Would it be ok to put the fuel filter in between where the hard line comes out of the frame and the fuel pump inlet.Looks like it would be an easier fit than trying to snake the fuel filter with braded line fittings behind the alternator to the holly duel feed inlet.Fuel filter with fittings is about 6 inches long. Thanks for all help. Andy.
72-CLASSIC_RIDE
If I'm hearing you right, I have seen it done! Would keep filter further from the engine heat. Just ensure there is no chance of it getting tangled up or interferring with moveable components when car is moving. Not a lot of room in there also. If not kinked you should be good to go. MC 1st
Where is the fuel filter on 72 MC? I can't seem to find it on the rail.
Dtret
If original you have s screen on the sender in the tank and a filter in the carburetor where the fuel line bolts in
