Gavin Posted August 22, 2002 Posted August 22, 2002 Hey peeps! Is there something like a Monte shop manual? I don't know if it's the same, but I once saw a guy that had a book that explained until the last screw how something should be taken apart. Could this be a shopmanual? Gav
Ben N Posted August 22, 2002 Posted August 22, 2002 Hi Gav, I have a Helm 1971 Chassis Service Manual that I use when I'm not sure of something. It covers Monte Carlo, Chevelle, Nova, Camaro, & Corvettes. I paid $40 for it brand new, a few years ago. It shows everything from frame stuff, to engine stuff, to dashpad/guage removal stuff. Great Book!!! Their website is helminc.com. The form # for the '71 book is ST32971. MarchieB Posted August 22, 2002 Posted August 22, 2002 Try this site they've got every book avaliable! I think you're talking about the Factory Assembly manual http://www.gregsonline.com/eshop/Html/Products/monte-carlo-books.htm [This message has been edited by MarchieB (edited 08-22-2002).]
Gavin Posted August 22, 2002 Author Posted August 22, 2002 COOL! This is what I'm talking about. But they do not ship to Europe, so that's a bit of a problem...
Guest Posted August 22, 2002 Posted August 22, 2002 Gavin, You might try the "Haynes Automotive Repair Manual for Chevrolet Monte Carlo - 1970 thru 1988" ------------------
