201fireman Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 I am trying to clean some of the A/C lines and things under my hood before I put the rebuilt motor back in. Does anyone know of a good cleaner that will work on aluminum, steel, etc.?
Mikstudie Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 I have used very,very fine steel wool on AC lines it works good.Just don't over-do it and make sure It's very fine(soft) steel wool. Mike
Jared Richey Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 For any grease use Purple Power. And Brillo Pads may shine up the aluminum. Brillo want scratch. DO NOT use SOS pads, they WILL scratch.
