Andy's Auto Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 Restamp. These things were gang stamped. Sometimes they were double hit as a guy was wielding a 9 pound hammer. But they were at least straight to each other. And like Dan said,no horizontal broach marks. And the font is wrong. Quote
Paul Bell Posted March 31, 2020 Posted March 31, 2020 I agree it's a re-stamp. The 7 is out of line. The stamp used to make these was a holder that all the numbers slipped into that imprinted them with one hit. The holder kept the number dies in line. Sorry! Quote
