MADMAC Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 I was wondering if anybody had rolled their car on a scale, and if so what is the actual weight? There is a recycling center near my house and want to take it and see but my cars torn apart, and I just took the block out to get it machined (My New Project!). I got some advice from some of the other members on where to get some good quality fiberglass peices but I kinda would like to get a base weight that way I know how much I'm shedding. MADMAC Quote

680HPStroker Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Two years ago my 72 weighed exactly 4,000lbs with me in it at 190lbs and a half tank of gas. Now with alloy wheels vise steel and a glass hood vise stock the same car should weigh about 3,800lbs +-50lbs. Quote
