MC 454 Yenko

Hello everyone, I'm new here. I come from Switzerland and drive an MC Generation 1. Nobody in Europe can help me, so I'm here. maybe someone can help me there.

my MC 454 SS has a Yenko emblem on the vinyl top.

did Don Yenko rebuild MC once?
is for sure an original logo.

I would be excited to receive answers.

I’m not aware of any special Yenko Monte Carlos.

According to a listing saw awhile of all of the cars they did a Monte Carlo was not on the list so I would say no, it is a true Yankovic

Great looking Monte. I'm not sure how you could research the history.

Thanks! I like to make a research. But i don’t know how i can do it. Because in Europa nowone have know Don Yenko and his History.

I read that thread too, I tried to search the history and didn't find much. If they numbered the cars they built you would think they would have some kind of registry.

Great looking car. Given it has an original air cleaner, I seriously doubt it's a Yenko car, even if their history showed they built one. 

My guess is a previous owner made it his own.

I install this filter myself, as it is difficult to drive the car on the road to Switzerland with an open filter. it is forbidden in Switzerland. Since I don't know if it's an original Yenko and I can't hear it, I prefer to drive around like that. I have an open filter that I can mount with a screw.
