Flo454 Posted January 17, 2021 Posted January 17, 2021 Hello everyone, I'm new here. I come from Switzerland and drive an MC Generation 1. Nobody in Europe can help me, so I'm here. maybe someone can help me there. my MC 454 SS has a Yenko emblem on the vinyl top. did Don Yenko rebuild MC once? is for sure an original logo. I would be excited to receive answers. kind regards Quote

Canuck Posted January 17, 2021 Posted January 17, 2021 I’m not aware of any special Yenko Monte Carlos. Quote
MC1of80 Posted January 17, 2021 Posted January 17, 2021 X2 but anything is possible. Possibly. Lol Quote
Rob Peters Posted January 18, 2021 Posted January 18, 2021 According to a listing saw awhile of all of the cars they did a Monte Carlo was not on the list so I would say no, it is a true Yankovic rob Quote
1970mcss Posted January 18, 2021 Posted January 18, 2021 Great looking Monte. I'm not sure how you could research the history. Quote
Flo454 Posted January 18, 2021 Author Posted January 18, 2021 Thanks! I like to make a research. But i don’t know how i can do it. Because in Europa nowone have know Don Yenko and his History. sorry for my English. We Speek German in Switzerland. Quote
DragCat Posted January 18, 2021 Posted January 18, 2021 Nice looking Monte ! Doubt its a real Yenko but there is always the possibility, stranger things have happened Quote
jft69z Posted January 18, 2021 Posted January 18, 2021 There was a thread about this back in 2009 here. Some pretty good discussions about it. Â Quote
1970mcss Posted January 19, 2021 Posted January 19, 2021 I read that thread too, I tried to search the history and didn't find much. If they numbered the cars they built you would think they would have some kind of registry. Quote
Dtret Posted January 19, 2021 Posted January 19, 2021 Google yenko history and it lists the cars in categories Quote

overdrive Posted January 19, 2021 Posted January 19, 2021 Great looking car. Given it has an original air cleaner, I seriously doubt it's a Yenko car, even if their history showed they built one. My guess is a previous owner made it his own. Dan 1 Quote
1970mcss Posted January 19, 2021 Posted January 19, 2021 I don't know how I missed that. Thanks Quote
Flo454 Posted January 19, 2021 Author Posted January 19, 2021 I install this filter myself, as it is difficult to drive the car on the road to Switzerland with an open filter. it is forbidden in Switzerland. Since I don't know if it's an original Yenko and I can't hear it, I prefer to drive around like that. I have an open filter that I can mount with a screw. Quote
