Adding fresh air vents

I have a 72’ with non working A/C.   Id like to get some fresh air inside until I get aftermarket air.   In the kick panel area, can I remove the vacuum actuated door on pass side and the block off plate on the driver side and add the non A/C kick panels and be good to go?   Or what else needs to be done?  Thanks

yes i did it to my 71 ithink i had to  r/r  e brake pedal assembly made it easier

It’s so much easier to just roll down all four windows 😂😂
